Today, Elikatni Products is the largest frozen food manufacturer in Ukraine, offering a unique range of products. We produce not only under our own brand but also provide manufacturing services through a private label scheme.

Different types of frozen products have different shelf lives. For example, syrnyky (cheese pancakes) can be stored for 90 days, while grechanyky (buckwheat cutlets) last up to 360 days at −18 °C. This information is indicated in the catalog.

You can find the production and expiration dates on the packaging. If you buy products by weight at an Elikatni Products store, don’t hesitate to ask the staff.

It’s best to follow the instructions on the packaging. We carefully test cooking methods and times — and we guarantee satisfaction with the results.

Eliкатні products are made from natural raw materials, primarily of Ukrainian origin, with only a small portion being imported.

We work with local farms. On the “Raw Materials Map” page, you can see their locations and find out exactly which products they supply to us.

Thanks to thorough inspections, which include visual assessment, physico-chemical and microbiological monitoring in our in-house and, if necessary, state laboratories, toxicological control, and sanitary condition checks during transportation. Each type of raw material has its own requirements according to DSTU/GOST standards, and we strictly adhere to them.

This is carried out in seven stages using a closed-loop method: from sanitary control of the premises, equipment, and clothing, as well as inspection of raw materials, to the storage and delivery of finished products to stores.

Shock freezing, or quick freezing, is a process that allows food to retain its flavor, nutritional value, and original shape as much as possible. Here’s how it works.

Meat, fish, vegetables, and fruits contain a high amount of water. When they are placed in a regular freezer, this water begins to freeze and forms large ice crystals, which damage the structure of the food. As a result, when cooked, these foods often become soft, lose flavor, and have significantly less nutritional value.

Shock freezing, on the other hand, works so quickly that large ice crystals simply don’t have time to form. The structure of the food, along with its taste and nutritional properties, is preserved to the maximum. That’s why meals prepared with TM Elika taste their very best!

At our facility, we have the only equipment of its kind in Ukraine — a French pancake production line, the MC 3093. It performs 15 processes simultaneously, fully automating production from start to finish. On this line, the batter is cooked on both sides, resulting in especially delicious pancakes.

We are also the Ukrainian leader in handmade products. This includes benderiki, stuffed cabbage rolls, stuffed peppers, and “Cordon Bleu” cutlets. Skilled culinary artisans craft these products at our facility with the care and attention of the most devoted home cook.
